The Professional Association for Architects & Architectural Technologists

We support our Architect and Architectural Technologist members to build sustainable careers in architecture. We promote architecture as an economic and cultural asset. We also maintain a voluntary register of Architectural Technologists.

In Ireland, to describe yourself as an Architect you must be Registered. The RIAI is the Registration Body for Architects.

Governance

RIAI activities are co-ordinated by a 9-Member Board responsible for Council, the Institute’s governing body, which is elected by the Membership.

The activities of the RIAI are run by seven committees to provide expertise and policy across the wide range of competencies and issues that relate to architecture and the built environment.
