RIAI Emerging Awards 2024

Awarded in association with the RIAI Journal, Architecture Ireland, the RIAI Emerging Awards seek to recognise emerging talent in Irish Architecture.

The RIAI Emerging Awards (formerly the RIAI Future Award) are now open for entries to both individuals and practices, owing to the collaborative nature of architectural practice. The Jury is seeking submissions from individuals and practices who show skill and talent in any of the following areas related to architecture: design, practice, research, writing, public engagement, and education, for example.

There are two Awards:

  1. The Emerging Architect Award is open to individual Registered Architects, who have been RIAI Members for 12 years or less, on or before 31 December 2024. This award is for both individuals working for themselves and individuals working as an employee of an established architectural practice or other organisation. Individuals can enter themselves or be nominated by another RIAI Member (e.g. an employer, colleague, etc.).
  2. The Emerging Practice Award is open to Architecture Practices whose directors have been RIAI registered members for 12 years or less, on or before 31 December 2024.
