Dublin Festival of History: RIAI Architectural Tour of 14 Henrietta Street
The tour, led by Gráinne Shaffrey MRIAI, will tell the story of this remarkable 18th century Georgian townhouse. Shaffrey Architects was involved in the architectural conservation of No. 14 over 12 years, rescuing it from imminent collapse and adapting the house for reuse as a museum. 14 Henrietta Street is now a social history museum of Dublin life, from one building’s Georgian beginnings to its tenement times.
Booking is essential, with a small number of tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis when the festival is launched at 10am on Tuesday, 3 September.
