If you are looking a progressive career move to a practice where you can work on several exciting projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment – this may be the perfect role for you. Fitzgibbon McGinley Architects is a successful RIAI practice located on the outskirts of Naas and we are seeking a qualified Architectural Technologist to work on a broad range of projects in the Healthcare, Commercial, Educational, Pharmaceutical & Conservation Sectors.

Job Requirements

This position is for an Architectural Technologist, with a relevant qualification in Architectural Technology in Ireland and a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in an Irish based Architectural Practice. Experience in Healthcare, Educational and public sector projects an advantage but not essential.

Core requirements include:

• Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience.
• Significant experience post qualification in a Irish based practice.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of design & construction teams.
• Strong design and technical skills with a proficient understanding of construction processes. 
• Strong working knowledge of the Statutory Consent processes (Planning, FSCA, DAC), current Building Regulations, and the BC(A)R process.
• Proficient in AutoCAD & AutoDesk Revit/BIM.
