1WML Office and Mixed-Use Development
Architect:
MOLA Architecture
Award Type:
Irish Architecture Awards
Location:
Dublin
This mixed-use development responds to the existing fabric of Creighton Street while recognising the new commercial developing city bock on Windmill Lane and towards the river. Materials and massing are designed to bridge this context. The pivotal corner houses a large high multifunctional space, a public room, inviting the locals in, connecting the users to the street and the city beyond. It is a new development with a social generosity, recognising its place in connecting new and old Dublin.
