The RIAI will present a CPD with Caytons and Marsh to present Minimising the Scope For Claims against Construction Professionals due to the Impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic & Risk Mitigation.
The Coronavirus Pandemic has had a profound effect on the Irish economy. Economic downturns can result in claims being made against professionals including those engaged in the construction arena.
This webinar will cover the following:
- Insurance market trends locally and globally
- A discussion on premiums, excess, renewals (answering questions on the renewal form) and how Underwriters assess renewals
- The anticipated claims which may be brought against construction professionals based upon experiences of the last economic downturn
- A discussion of practical steps which can be taken by construction and design professionals to minimise the risk of future claims
- A discussion of terms that should be included or not, in a professional's contractual documentation
There will be a Q&A section at the end of the talk (15mins).
